The Colorado River Women's Council (CRWC) provides a community leadership role through our numerous sponsor-based programs (G.A.T.E., P.O.K.E., WHW, ADULTEEN, and Continuing Education Scholarships). These programs provide education and services to assist school age children, qualifying residents, and small businesses to improve the quality of life as prescribed within the scope of each program. Communities served are the Tri-State area, which include Bullhead City, Laughlin, Needles, Fort Mohave, and Mohave Valley.
Our Purpose and Objectives
The purpose of the CRWC is to offer financial support, guidance, and education to enhance growth and development, provide safety initiatives and encouragement for residents, small businesses, and school aged children within the Tri-State Area. To accomplish this, we incorporate the following programs with our CRWC board of directors overseeing each of our programs.
EVENTS
· Raise funds through annual community wide events, Western Auction, Boom Box Parade and Corporate Sponsorships, to fund our community service-based programs within the Tri-State Area.

PROGRAMS
WOMEN HELPING WOMEN
· In cooperation with different service organizations, we encourage, support, educate and reinforce rehabilitative needs to assist women to re-enter the work force.
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
· Support small business owners, and individuals sponsored by other community leaders, through our Leadership program to assist them in building a solid future within the community via field trips, seminars and introducing them to key community services and resources.
SCHOLARSHIPS
· Provide scholarships to qualifying graduates in the Tri-State area who comply with the application process which includes identifying honors, extracurricular activities, community participation with a written essay describing their career goals.
P.O.K.E.
· Assist with the safety of our Tri-State students with our P.O.K.E program based on needs identified by the Tri-State communities through meetings with the educational professionals.
G.A.T.E.
· Assist educators in the Tri-State Area with projects to meet specific classroom needs of their students that are beyond the financial means of the district through our G.A.T.E program.
ADULTEEN
· Prepare high school students with life skills to guide them with finance, basic home keeping, and promoting independence through our ADULTEEN Program.
GOLDEN RULE COMMUNITY
· Promote the act of kindness through the guides of The Golden Rule Community. We are encouraging and assisting with applauding residents/businesses caught in the act of doing something Kind within our Tri-State Area.
